Artwork Title: Zoomorphic Jewels Year: 2003 Medium: Cast Bronze Dimensions: Various, each approx 400 x 300 x 250mm Description/Project Name/Conceptual Statement: Federation Park Toowoomba

Zoomorphic Jewels are a series of sculptural pods inspired by research of Indigenous bush tucker and flora and fauna local to the “Flower Capital’ Toowoomba region. Research was compiled through community consultation and local history archives. Each work is evocative of the stages of a seed pod opening to bloom and their glowing patinas reference the distinctive colours of the ‘four seasons’.
